  2. make us able to search job postings for a kind of work, so that then we can check companies attached to a certain kind of job

    example: if I wanted an IT job that likes advocates, i could type in the job name and see what companies pop up and apply to the ones that fit me best. similarly, if I was looking for receptionist opportunities, I could see who was in the market for receptionists. if you wanted to match people further, there could be suggestions for similar lines of work if nothing comes up- or if potential employers had entry level positions, maybe they could attach a personality type they were looking for and people could browse entry level positions based on their personality…

  6. Clasify the Companies database according to the personality. Ex: I'm an Idealist, so I can see all the companies where idealist is in.

    You give us the companies and we can check if we match, but we have to enter one by one, and we will only see the companies we know about, but maybe there's a company that I don't know about that perfectly math with my "perso as".

  7. Appropriation.

    I have no doubt that the spirit animal quiz posted was done so out of pure fun, and that’s okay. But I would encourage Good&Co to remove it. Although very commercialized, spirit animals are sacred to indigenous peoples and its an extreme honour to receive that gift. Miigwetch/thank you!

    You already understand all about People & Profiles, Companies & Profiles, and Job & Profiles. I think it would be great for the 'system' to understand about Careers as well, here's why:

    I searched for Jobs tonight, and there's nothing new. I had to specify job title and/or skills to make that search, which limited the Jobs that were shown to me.

    A. I'd like the system to just show me jobs based on my profile (not artificially limited by the job title or skill I enter).

    And

    B. I'd also like to just look at potential Careers in that…

  13. Put some thought into sliders and ranking

    What does the middle of the Likert scale/slider/spectrum mean? One can guess, but if the sliders are too open to interpretation users might not use them in the way you anticipate.

    I would love to see options to choose new questions in the company canvas.

    James bond getaway vs an ocean's 11 heist? ... What does this mean? I'm assuming perfectly executed vs error prone but this may not be clear for other users. Consider clarifying?

    What's the difference between an emperor and a president? These indicators may be too subjective.

  14. show percentages of archetypes instead of just a list of three

    Show how much of each archetype you are matched with by percentage. When I look at it I see My first archetype has key trait as Stability and the second and third show Drive. I would like to know for instance if I am 40% stability and %60 drive or is it more like I am mostly the first archetype so its 70% Stability and 30% drive. This is kind of an inane example but for like job choice it would be good to know how much of each.

    Every Persona already hints at what sort of career paths are ideal based on that. Each users' profile needs to take into consideration their whole profile and personas, connects vs a careers database, and then generates recommended matches. This will further allow the user to discover themselves while providing better leads for job matchings. You could also incorporate meaningful filters such as filtering by education level, industry, etc.

    When reviewing a company that holds a high compatibility with myself, I will have to scroll through the entire job list before discovering that there are no job openings in my area which is a huge let down. Perhaps a feature can be added to see companies with job openings in my area that are highly compatible with myself.

  20. Recommend highly matched job posts (both matching job description + company cultural fit) (improved UX)

    As is, Good&Co forces us to search for companies and then search within their posted jobs, which is a bit un-natural UX with lost opportunities of great jobs of companies the user has not thought of.

    It would be of great value if the system would recommend job posts which fits the users' personality, the company's cultural fit, and the self identified skills. Setting our location preferences somewhere could also provide meaningful initial proximity as a factor. In addition, allow for meaningful adjustments through filters (location range, company fit range, job fit range, etc.)
